A purple pumpkin sits alone in a field for no other reason than because he is purple! That’s not right! When no one chooses the purple pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern, he starts to lose hope. Being shunned because he is different hurts. When a little girl chooses him, he is excited! And guess what? They actually have something in common! Maybe being different doesn’t have to be bad.
